OUR HISTORY
Before becoming a diverse operation and distributors of global brands, we were a small practice led by our late founder, Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa, the founder of the company in 1918.
The business started by the founder Ali Abdulwahab Almutawa in 1918. An entrepreneur who started trading in Kuwait and neighboring countries, importing household products to Kuwait’s small but growing society. Over the years, the practice grew in reach and was eventually formalized, institutionalized, and consolidated under the name of Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa (AAW).
